A New Home for My Blog! And, a New Website to Boot!

Old blog banner with watercolor images

Wowza! I’ve spent the last few weeks getting to know WordPress and building a new site that will give me so many more options to connect with you. Understand that this is a work in progress. There may be pages and older blog posts that don’t work quite right just yet, not to mention duplicate posts and comments. Please keep coming back as little by little PamJohnsonBrickell.com will be fully functional!

I started my former blog CreatingNatureJournals.com on Earth Day in 2008. The banner image above has stayed in place for all these years. You might say I’m a wee bit attached to it, so it will remain the static image on the blog section of this site. Wading birds, lowcountry flora and the marsh are still my great loves.

Yes, my art journey has expanded – it’s one of the great things about keeping an illustrated journal. . . The journey! I never know what will catch my eye and what skills I may want to develop so that the new eye candy can be recreated on paper the way it”s looking in my head and heart. Eye, head, hand and heart – a great combo for mark making!

Thanks for visiting and sharing your feedback!
