Highlights of the day; a good sized pod of Bottle-nosed Dolphin swam by not too far off shore, but what really made my heart soar was watching children collecting Starfish in shallow pools left behind by the receding tide and bringing them down to the ocean to throw them into deep water. I couldn’t contain my joy…. I made sure I thanked each child for helping these animals live and for being such a friend to nature.
Nature programs in schools are working!!!
Thank you, Ken! I knew I liked it but you make it sound really good 🙂
I used a tiny travel wc set by Holbein. I am getting more comfy with traditional wc painting plein air. I think the watercolor pencils have helped my confidence level.
Very nice watercolor Pam!
It seems to me that you’re getting very comfortable with watercolor. This one has spontaneity,a variety of brushwork, color and shape, but also a real sureness to it.
It’s so hard to mix spontaneity and sureness but this one really has it.
