There are two plants in our flower beds that I love to capture. Coral honeysuckle and coral bean.
They’ve been in the ground for a few years, and much to my delight, both are really starting to show off!
It was a delightful day to paint in the yard. I tried out both brands of plein air umbrellas. I have one by Creative Mark and another by Jerry’s Artarama. Both have features that I like. The Creative Mark umbrella is silver and folds up to nothing, making it my choice when hiking in to a location to paint. Jerry’s brand is white and has a tad larger canopy, but is 50″ long when collapsed. Both attach to Creative Mark’s universal umbrella stand well. My easel is by En Plein Air Pro.
Pam. I have followed you for many years. You are an inspiration because you are always out there
doing the work and fun of getting it down on paper.
Hi Patty,
Thank you for joining me on my art journey these past years! To be truthful, if I don’t get out for some quiet creativity, even if for only 15 minutes, I can get a little cranky! Hubby knows… happy wife, happy life : )
Beautiful. Thank you for giving inspiration to me. I have not painted my lovely carol honeysuckle. I am training it across the garage door. Will get the paints out and have a go.
Hi Beth! So good to hear from you!! I bet your coral honeysuckle is beautiful over the garage door. I’d love to put a vine across mine. But first I need a support. So happy you want to grab your paints!
