Enjoy a peek at a handmade accordion fold journal that I made and used to capture the path to the beach.  I sketched on site with a brown Micron pen around 9:30 in the morning.  We had made it to the beach for sunrise that morning, so the first panel of the journal is painted from memory.  All paint added as we sat under the beach umbrella.  A concertina format journal lends itself well to capture a walk and the treasures found along the way.
