Hi Rhonda! Yes, they love to sing! I worked at a vet too, when my fur kids were young. They eat everything in sight and were always at the vet for some reason or another during puppy hood. Needed a discount 🙂
I didn't know you had Basenjis! My all-time favorite dogs, along with Boston Terriers. I fell in love with every Basenji that came into our vet's office when I worked there. I didn't know they sang like this.
Yup! Our Basenji's love to sing. Grizz, that's pictured, really gets into it. She does a duet with Dudley (that you hear in the background). Grizz also likes to sing with my husband, He made up a little song and she chimes right in – it's a morning ritual.
Dudley only sings to music. MASH, the theme to Star Trek, John Denver's 'Thank God I'm a Country Boy, and other songs. He likes fiddles and horns.

And you get that concert every time M*A*S*H comes on TV? That little guy has great enthusiasm (and lung power) and his backup doesn't do badly, either. Do they respond to any other music?
