This Lowcountry Field Trip will be extra special as it celebrates the 15th anniversary year of Pam’s first sketching workshop at Sergeant Jasper Park!
Nature Journaling awakens and refreshes your soul. Come join me for a walk along the trails of Sergeant Jasper Park. It is a gem!
~ Do you think you can’t draw?
~ Are you hesitant to add color to your drawings for fear of messing them up?
~ Do you wish to expand on your plein air sketching skills?
Come and join other liked minded, Nature loving folks and begin and/or expand your sketching journey. Pam will demonstrate and guide your steps to record Nature’s wonders in the safe haven of a sketchbook. It’s so good for the soul!
Participants receive group and one-on-one instruction on learning how to ‘see’, page layout design and adding nature notes to our sketches. As we meander down the trail, frequent stops are made to look, listen and capture the wonders observed into our journals.
Skill Level
Pam welcomes all levels of experience. Nature Journaling is quite different from studio painting. If you are familiar with plein air painting, this experience will widen your understanding of the landscape you love to paint. Newbies, don’t be shy. You will create journal pages that show your love for Nature. All you need is the desire to do so.

“You are very sweet and generous with your time and you clearly exude a love of nature in your art that rubs off on your admiring students in a wonderful way. Your classes this winter and spring have added a richness to my life and I thank you for that!”
~ Clare Ellis
