Workshop Terms & Conditions

As with all Pam Johnson Brickell Studio workshops, it’s up to each participant to properly prepare for the class, be aware of their surroundings, watch their step, be respectful of other participants and to be responsible for their own actions.  As the instructor, Pam will not knowingly put any student in harms way nor be held responsible for any accident or unknown natural or man-made incident causing individual harm during an art workshop or plein air art workshop or Lowcountry Field Trip class.

Lowcountry Field Trip Cancellation Policy

Registration for a Lowcountry Field Trip is your commitment to attend. There will be no refunds unless Pam Johnson Brickell cancels the class. In case of bad weather, the workshop may be canceled by 8:00 am of the day scheduled. Each field trip has a rain date.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all multiple-day public workshops hosted by Pam Johnson Brickell Studio.

Cancellation policies for private organizations, as well as Pam’s Lowcountry Field Trips and online classes are found on the website page specific to those types of workshops or courses.

If a Cancellation is Made

  • More than 6 weeks prior to workshop start, you will receive a full refund less $65.00 admin fee.
  • 22 to 42 days prior to workshop start, you will be refunded one half of your workshop fee unless opening can be filled from waitlist. If filled, a refund minus $80 admin fee is issued during the workshop week or just after..
  • 21 days (3 weeks) or less prior to workshop start and for no-shows, no refund will be issued

If a workshop is cancelled by Pam Johnson Brickell Studio, the entire workshop fee will be refunded.

Pam Johnson Brickell Studio reserves the right to cancel any workshop at any time prior to workshop start date. A full refund of entire workshop fee will be given. However, Pam Johnson Brickell Studio is not responsible for any expenses such as, but not limited to, non-refundable airline tickets, hotel expenses, etc.

Trip Insurance: Pam Johnson Brickell Studio recommends purchasing trip insurance, and/or a refundable ticket if you will be flying. Pam Johnson Brickell Studio accepts no responsibility for any loss associated with unrecoverable travel costs or reservations.

Transfers: Requests to transfer from one workshop to another will be honored, space permitting, and must be requested and confirmed no less than 6 weeks (43 days) prior to the start date of the workshop being withdrawn from. A $75.00 fee for administrative costs on all transfers will be due, along with any price differential between workshops. Workshops cannot be sold to a third party (must be used by original workshop registrant).

All transfers are limited to availability in the workshop requested and only to those workshops held in the continental United States.

Pam Johnson Brickell Studio makes all decisions about cancellations, rescheduling, and transfers.
