Playing with Blue and Gray

Can you think of a better subject to practice blue and gray watercolor mixes?

Then, what shape is the heron’s eye? And look at all the tones of orange in it’s beak….

What may seem a bland colored waterbird from afar really is made up of such a plethora of subtle shades and tones. Oh so fun to kick back and explore with paint πŸ™‚
