Another beauty of a day sketching on the links. Spring crisp! A lovely surprise on the 10th hole… An osprey was flying to the next with Spanish moss dangling from its talons.

I’m catching up with some back history. Website building had me a bit out of posting circulation! A great day for sketching at the Old Oyster Factory Park in Bluffton . I finished the spread at home with a sketch of Fetterbush that was blooming.

The other day a wren landed on the birdbath just outside our dinette window… close enough for me to photograph with my phone! These are some little 3.5″ square studies from the photographs. I love these birds – so spunky and vocal. Their song always brings a smile.
